When I search using the Find and Replace command, it does not always work. I think it has something to do with the format, but I cannot figure out what It is. I have a list thousands of lines long to search, and this is a big problem. In the example attached, if you copy and paste cell B6 into the "Find what:" field of the Find and replace commmand and select find all, it finds only cell B6. If you copy cell B7 into the "Find what" field, it will find both B6 and b7. Why?
hi jfaycpa, welcome to the forum. Find searches for words that contain what you input. B6 has a trailing space. B7 doesn't. so if you looked for "ADB-0157250040-11 ", only B6 has it. but if you looked for B7 (one that does not contain space), then both contain that.

You can check that with LEN(B6) and LEN(B7)
