Post how to show a picture from another file directly in excel?

    Hi!!

I have got a problem! I have an excel file with about 200 images! This increases the filesize too much.
So, I want to (if possible) have all the 200 images in different files, but still show all the pictures directly in Excel like before, without having the directly imported into excel. So, easy explained: I want to show a picture directly in excel that is in another file without having the picture increasing the filesize as before!

    How can i do this??

    thanks for all help!

There may be another way. Click on the image and the ribbon at the top should show format, click on that and in the adjust section there is a "Compress images" button. Click on that and there should be the options that you need for compressing all your images at once.

Something you can try is keeping all the images in a secondary file and linking it back to your file by using "Paste as Picture -> Paste Picture as Link" it can reduce file size but depends on what you want to achieve.
