    Multiple results for Conditional Formatting

I am trying to use conditional formatting to provide me with multiple possible results depending on the text content of a cell. I'm not sure if this is possible, but to briefly explain.

Depending on the text in the cell, I'd like to color of that cell to change to a specific colour. If the cell states CUR, the cell turns green. If it states EOL, the cell turn red, if the cell states WOFF, the cell turns blue, if the cell states EXCL, the cell turns purple and finally if the cell states NEW, the cell turns yellow.

I've attached a sample document where I have used conditional formatting to change cells red that contain EOL, but I do not know if it's possible to also have it format as I have described above.

Is this possible and if so can anyone help me please?

If you use Excel 2003, you can use only 3 different conditions(colors)..

Thanks Both. I'll have a rethink on this.
