    Filter Based on Dates

I have tabular data which includes a Date column. Using an Autofilter, I want to show only the rows with dates within a data range. That range is defined elsewhere on the worksheet in two cells - one a start date the other an end date. I cannot see a way to have the Filter refer to cells - the criteria appear to have to be explicit picks. Is there a way around this??

BTW, the date range will be a tax year - which where I come from is 1 July to 30 June.

Not with an Autofilter. You could set up an Advanced Filter and point the criteria cells at your start and end date cells.

Post a sample workbook with the current layout if you want a worked example.
