Data Validation Problems

Hi ,

i wondered if anyone would be able to help me with the below i am really struggling .

I am trying to add data validation to a row of dates so a user can only enter a date on sun, mon , tue , wed only , and gives them a error message if they enter thur , fri , sat.

The row is in the format of ddd dd/mm/yyyy .

Any help would be greatly appreciated .

Hi

In the Data Validation Custom option use

=WEEKDAY(A1)<5

where A1 is the cell that should contain the validation.
