Question Row height and column width for a specific range

I have tried and been searching but cannot find the answer. Is it possible to change the row height and column width for only a selected range in my spread sheet, for example, F13:I23? I am using Excel 2010. Thanks

If you mean to only change the width/height of the selection, then no. Changing the height of a row changes it for the entire row, and changing the width of a column changes the width for the entire column. In other words, all cells within a single row must be the same height, and all cells within a single column must be the same width.

If you want to select F13:I23 and change entire row height from 13-23, then with your selection, use the Home tab to select "Row Height" or "Column Width" from the Format drop-down.

Otherwise, if you want larger cells in the middle of a group of smaller cells, you'll have to use merging to get the desired result.
