Exclamation Excel 2013 Bug - Entering data in cell is moved to different sheet

Has anyone had the bug below happen in Excel 2013 when they have multiple sheets open? I have it happen daily and it's extremely frustrating and risky for incorrect data entry.

    Bug Description:

I have at least two Excel sheets open at once. While working in Sheet #1, I attempt to enter data into a cell and it doesn't show up. Next thing I know, I look in Sheet #2 and the data is in a random cell in that sheet. I have to undo the change on Sheet #2 and save the changes before I go back to Sheet #1 and re-enter the data.

This doesn't happen every time, but it does happen to me multiple times every day and it's really risky due to the importance of the data I'm tracking. If I don't notice this happening I can end up losing important data that's copied over on another sheet. This is especially problematic when I have numerous sheets open at once. This never happened in the last version of Excel and seems to be specific to 2013.

Has anyone had this happen and if so, how were you able to fix the issue (if at all)?

How exactly do you have 2 or more worksheets 'open' at the same time?

Sorry, I mean multiple workbooks, not worksheets. I have multiple monitors and Excel 2013 gives every workbook it's own window instead of having to run separate instances of Excel.

Here's a description of the feature if you aren't familiar:

I realize that this post is ancient, but as it was never solved, I'm wondering if the Funroe, or anyone found a solution elsewhere. Have just now upgraded to Office 13 and I have the same trouble. I go to click on a foreground workbook, but my cursor lands on another open book.

Random encounter with an IT guy who just happened to have seen this recently. Through trail and error he discovered Add-ins that were running interference. I disabled Hyperion and Essexcln add-ins and the problem stopped. I suppose users who actually NEED hyperion should avoid excel 2013, but thats not my problem.
