If that filter was applied to one column, that would not filter out any data and would return all your data.
Please upload an actual workbook and tell us what exactly you are trying to do.

this is the excel worksheet
None of the data in columns P to S (which I imagine is what you are trying to filter) are actual numbers - they are text values which contain numeric characters (along with a lot of spaces, and mixtures of full-stops and commas). You will need to convert them all to proper numbers, and then filtering will be easier. You can use Find & Replace (Ctrl-H) on those columns to remove all spaces in one operation (replace space with nothing), and similarly for the commas - although you might use commas to represent decimal points, in which case you should replace the full-stops.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Pete, but how can i easily convert them? i want to filter them according to Accumulated Balance which is in column S

I've done it for you in the attached file, by highlighting columns P to S and then using Find & Replace to change space to nothing, to change full-stop to nothing, and then to change comma to full-stop, as described earlier.
Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot Pete, but you tell me how i can use find and replace to do it in others sheets i have, and how i can use advanced filter to categorize huge amount of numbers in this sheet in 3 categories 1st group numbers >0, send group numbers =0 and third group numbers<0

Amr
But I've told you twice now how to change those text values to numbers - read post #6 again.
You can then use Autofilter on one of those columns, looking for greater than zero, then highlight the visible rows, then click on CUT, then move cursor to another sheet and PASTE (Ctrl-V). Do a similar thing for less than zero, and then you will be left with the zero values in the first sheet.
Hope this helps.
Pete
