Question to improve performance of spreadsheet with thousand of fomulars

    Hello,

I have a spreadsheet that contains thousands of formulars and due to massive cells calculation it takes very long time to calculate everything in the sheets. Or whenever I want to change something in the spreadsheet, it takes time to load all the formulas. I tried to switch Calculation into manual mode. Please give me an idea how to make the spreadsheet run faster. I would deeply appreciate it.

Without knowing what the formulas are?

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

The sheet contains many "indirect" and "sumif" function. It's about more than 100k formulas in the entire workbook!

Examine your spreadsheet to see how the calculations progress down and across the worksheet. I have found that if calculations back-track frequently, the worksheet takes longer to calculate.

On Youtube there is a series on Excel Formula Efficiency that you may find valuable in assessing what you have with what you can do.

If you have "very many" INDIRECT formulas that can slow down your file.
