I am a novice Excel user who doesn't know how to write macros and was hoping some kind person might help me perform the following. I have attached a .xls file to illustrate what I'm trying to do. In the attached file I have headings at the top: 'Number', 'sample name' etc. I then have two sets of three rows. The set at the top is my data before what I need to do to it, and the set below is the data after I have manually aligned the numbers. I would like to be able to run a macro or something so that Excel will do this alignment for me.
I have three rows, each with two numberical values for 'size', and each value for 'size' has a corresponding value for 'height' and 'peak area' - so each row has 6 values in total. I need to align the values according to size, ascending from left to right. You will notice that the values I have aligned are not exactly the same but differ by <1. I need Excel to consider the numbers the same (and therefore align them) so long as they differ by no more than 0.6.
If someone can help me with this that would be fantastic!
