Sheet you want to move or copy contains the name...which already exists on the destination

...worksheet. Do you want to use this version of the name? Over and over and over...

When I try to copy a tab in a worksheet I get this message and have to hold down enert for a legit 5 minutes to get through all of the messages. I didn't create the workbook but need to use and will need to copy the tab on a daily basis. There are no links showing to break, no names showing in the name manager and no macros showing when I view the macros in the workbook.

Does anyone know what could be going on and how I could get rid of it? I would reallllly apprecite it! Thank you!

I am not exactly clear on what the source of the copy is. If it is a sheet not within the workbook try and name the worksheet to something that you know is not one that already exists in the workbook before copying and pasting. Then, rename the worksheet to something appropriate.

This could be a problem with an addin. To start Excel without addins:

1.Click Start, point to All Programs, and then point to Microsoft Office.
2.Press and hold the CTRL key, and then click Excel.

If the problem goes away, an addin is to blame. In that case go to File, Excel Options, Addins and disable all addins. Reboot Excel and try the copy procedure, repeat until it fails. When that happens, you know that the last addin activated is the culprit.
