Creating a hyperlink or button in excel that opens specific location in Google Earth

    Hello,

I am not sure if this is possible, but I currently have latitude and longitude points for over 1000 points (in decimal degrees) in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, and I was wondering, is there a way I can create hyperlinks, or some sort of buttons, for each individual lat/long point that when clicked opens Google Earth and flies directly to that specified lat/long point?

    For example:
    Latitude Longitude
    23.99804 -99.13756 [View in GE]

I would like the "[View in GE]" to be the hyperlink or button that, when clicked, opens Google Earth and flies directly to the lat/long points in the cells in that row?

Can anyone help, or possibly point me in the right direction?

    Thanks.

Dunno about Google earth, but it's pretty easy to do in google maps - would that be enough?

Unfortunately, its for a client who asked specifically for GE. I wish it was google maps, I've seen tons of threads that show how to do that.

Here's a macro that pretty much does it - needs a bit of testing and tweaking though

Then assuming Lat in Column A, Long in column B and a double click in column C to open in GE:
