Look for a value in word string in column data and return the same value

Hi Experts..

I am working on a project plan where I will need three diff types of skills, may a stand alone or in combination. So may be for Task 1, week 1 I will need "X" only for week 3 I will need all three X,Y and Z.
Now I wish to extract staffing plan showing week wise loading for each resource.

The staffing table From row 10, should populate the resource type from project plan depending upon the resource indiated in column A10 to A12

I tried lookup, match, index and isnumber.....nothing worked or infact I am not able to make use of it..

then, in order to hide the zeroes, either use Conditional Formatting or format the cells as Custom format > "General;General;" (without quotes).

Hi... need one more help, the requirement is slightly changed. As attached, now the requirement is to count maximum number of occurrence of a letter "X, Y or Z" in a string in given column...

As attached end result should return maximum occurrence of X,Y or Z in given column...
