Identify junk characters in a excel

    Hi,

I have a DB2 table imported to Excel which has some junk characters in some of its columns. This is a huge file and I need to identify which are the junk characters exist in this file. Is there a way to find this in excel or by using any other tool?

    Thanks,
    Vaishali

Yes there is, if you know what "junk characters" are, and explicitly reference all of it.

in this case, I do not know what junk characters could be there. I just need to find out if there are any occurances apart from special characters.

You have to tell us the characters you consider junk, for instance these ردی حروف are "junk characters" to those who don't use Urdu.
