Sort via text within date order

Hi im slowly getting my head around sorted dates and numbers in columns but ive ran into another issue.

I Need to to sort a load of data but it needs to be sorted by text in date order (text being the "request type" within the example) Im having trouble doing this.

Can it be done with out the use of filters?

What are the unique identifiers that you're using to put the requests in each list? Box 1 looks like Online, etc but I need a little more information.

Afterwards, you would use rank(if to generate ranks for each type of list, by date, and let the formulas autopopulate each box by descending rank, by date.

Here's an example using the limited info:

With more information, I could alter the ranking to fill out as many lists as needed by having it search for the qualifying string first.

Table 1 - TEST 1 ONLINE
Table 2 - TEST 2 ONLINE
Table 3 - TEST 1 LANDBASED
Table 4 - TEST 2 LANDBASED
