Multi criteria search result to give unique answer

Hi all, (newbie go easy)

I have a table with say 6 columns by 5 rows, column A lists persons names, columns B, C D & E either have nothing in them or a y for yes, the last column F will display the result.

What I'm trying to do is if person in A1 has a y in B1 and E1 then F1 will display, for example a text value which isn't calculated, it just means something to me, like C1/6 selected from a list
if person A2 has a y in C2 only then F2 will display another text value, AA/3 for example, again from a list.

Any pointers as to what to search for to allow me to do this.
