    Smile Monthly report that needs certain items adding to provide a monthly total against specific

    I have a monthly Sage download sent to me that requires filtering all the data to sum amounts for a specific ID that are logged in date format 01/03/2013

    What would be the easiest format considering that I download a totally new file every month and just want to overwrite the data in order to then enter the sum total per month by ID into a working budget report

    Help would be great

    I am new at this but know what I want to achieve

    To sum the data, you could use a pivot table, to do this for you.
