I need a box to tell me if I have enough hours to complete my task by turning green or red

I have a formula that tells me how long it will take to complete my task. I need it to tell whether or not I will be able to finish before a certain time.

Say it is 1 pm right now.
The task take 3 hours to complete
I need it done at 6 pm b/c that is when I will ship it.

I need the box that says 3 hours to light up in green that I can finish before 6 pm.
If the task would take longer than being ready at 6 pm then it would turn red.

You can do this with Conditional Formatting.

Give this a try...

1. highlight the range you want to apply the conditional formatting to (the cell with 3 hours in it)
2. on the home tab, styles, select CF
3. select new rule, select use formula
4. enter =MOD(NOW(),1)+A1<=0.75

A1 contains the 3 hours (in TIME format)

j4 amount of parts - 200 (B4 +c4 = j4)
q4 is finished goods - 0
r4 parts per hour 105

s4 (((B4+C4)-Q4)/R4)*60/60 which is 1.9

200 - 0 /105 * 60 / 60 to get how many hours it will take. I want to put in T4 when I need to have it by. so it is due by 3 pm. So from now to 3 pm can I do 1.9 hours of work to finish it. If I can it will turn green or not then it will turn red.
