    Dynamic Hyperlink

    Hi,

    I have several documents and opening the documents using hyperlink in excel.
    I need the hyperlink should work even the documents folder moved to any location in the computer.

    Is this possible?

    Hi Gan,

    I tried doing this myself and could not found any feature like this in 2007 version.
    I hope someone else has the answer or a macro could do this.

    I don't think this is possible in Excel. Even in MS Windows you cannot use a shortcut file if the original file is moved.

    An alternative solution could be to keep your original file in the same place, and make a shortcut of the file to be moved around. Then in Excel you can keep referring to the original file in the same location.

    Is it not possible even the hyperlink excel document included in the folder which I will move?

    Can't we use the code like

    You mean the Excel file moves along with the hyperlinked files? Yes then you can use your code to create the hyperlinks.
