Need help with a Formula to calculate days per quarter from a start and stop date

I need some help to find the correct formula to calculate the days per quarter for an activity that has a start and stop date.

For example.

Starts Stops Q1 2014 Days Q2 2014 Days Q3 2014 Days Q4 2014 Days Q1 2015 Days Q2 2015 Days
Activity A 9/13/2013 12/31/2016


Not having much luck with any formulas that don't keep adding more days then there should be .

Any ideas?
