How do i record output of a formula at a given time into another cell ?

I have a formula cell which calculates a value......this value changes with time as the variable input data changes. What I would like to do is copy the formula output value at a given time to a different cell so that I can record what the calculated value is at a specific time. Would appreciate any help anyone can offer.

The following macro copies D1 into A1, but it only copies the value so this is fixed.

Note I have included code to ensure the correct workbook and work sheet are selected before the macro will run.
