Stock values linked to physical stock on seperate sheet

    Hi,

I'm new to this and did try a search before I posted. Basically I have a couple of shops and have made a spread sheet that the shop managers will use for ordering. It has stock level, versus physical stock which gives them the order quantity. What I want to do is have (preferably hidden from them) each item of stock with a value against it so I can view the financial amount of stock I am carrying at any one time. I don't know if I need to do a separate sheet to keep it private from the staff and copy/paste data weekly, I would also like to put cost price AND retail price if possible. Thanks in advance

    Andy

    Re: Stock values

    Dear andy,
Plz see the attached file. In sheet 1 copy all the details of shops in the given format, and in price master update the cost price and retail price as required, and see the summary sheet.
    Hope this will help.

    Rajeshturaha,

thank you ever so much, I wish I knew how to use excel in all its glory like you obviously do. Now I have the two values, can I add a final column with a mark up percentage easy enough?
