LINKED LISTS - Dynamic Dropdowns [!PLEASE HELP!]

    Hi,

I am really in need of some help to create some dynamic lists.

I will attach a file so that you can see the real problem but will explain here also.

I have 3 variables that I have assigned lists to BUT they all have a big range within their lists AND only certain combinations are permitted.

I want the document to be able to recognise the combinations that exist and as a result after making the first dropdown selection, TAKE AWAY the options that don't exist in the data from the remaining dropdowns, based on that initial choice.

See the attached document for further explanation.

    Best Regards,

    Chris

I don't understand the purpose of that file? None of the lists work and nothing changes.

    Chris,

Please take a moment to read the forum rules. You have transgressed with two of the rules.

    a) you should not PM members directly asking for responses to questions in a thread that you have started. The thread itself is the only place for such questions.

    b) You should not post duplicate questions. This and your 950790 thread 'Multiple drop down lists that are linked to each other are I believe essentially the same. You have also marked the other one as solved. If at the time of posting and it really is a different question albeit similar in nature, which might be assumed to be the same then you should cross reference to the original.

If you need further assistance form someone specifically then you should ask for that in the thread to which they have replied, then they will pick it up automatically.

I'll close this thread since it does appear to be the same as the other.
If you want further assistance in the thread which you PMd me about 950787 'Simple Copy/Paste macro with duplicate prevention' then you should ask in there.
    Richard Buttrey
