Best way to compare 2 long columns

What is the best way to compare 2 long lists of data and tell me what the differences are? Each is in its own column.
Tried lining them up and using the = formula but it has too much variance to sort and match up.

way shortened e.g.:

3
4
8
8
....

vs
1
2
3
5
9
...

Hi,

I don't think I understand completely what you are trying to do. Is it that you want a new list of values, which contains only those numbers that AREN'T in BOTH of the original lists, but are in EXACTLY ONE list only?

I'd probably want 2 new columns to show both of the differences in the comparison. This would have to be sorted and compared. The first column to show what doesn't match in the column A compared to the column B, and then the second column to show the differences in column B vs A.
