Title says it all. I recently installed 2013 side-by-side to 2010 and it has effectively 'taken over'. I want to 'opt in' for 2013 use and have 2010 be the default application for all known excel file extensions.

Multiple searches have rendered a regedit tweak to at least get Excel 2010 to show up as an available option after (right-click any excel file > Properties) > "Opens with: Change" > C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14\EXCEL.EXE. As stated, 2010 now shows up alongside 2013 as available programs to associate. Clicking 2010 DOES NOT constitute a system-wide change. All excel files regardless of extension continue to open in 2013.

For clarification, I successfully implemented the regedit hack and I have completed the above workflow for .csv, .xlsx, .xlsm, and .xls.

Also, my excel file icons are now a weird blend of 2013 and 2010.

Help appreciated.

Thanks,
