Conditional formatting of part rows

I have a sheet with values that are the result of functions relating to a different sheet.
Some rows return values that are all zeros.
How can I conditionally format the zeros only if all the numbers in the row, from Column G to Column R are zero? Zeros in a row that have whole numbers need to remain unformatted.
It's doing my head in!!!
Thanks
Marie

Hi and welcome to the forum

1. highlight the range you want to apply the conditional formatting to (for instance G2:R100)
2. on the home tab, styles, select CF
3. select new rule, select use formula
4. enter =G2=0 format fill as neded
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Re: Conditional formatting of part rows

Thank you for the welcome and thank you for your answer. I've usually been able to find the answers I need by looking though old threads but I've had no luck on this one.
Your answer changes all the zeros within the selected area to my chosen format, however, I only want to change the zeros where the whole row is zeros. If a row has whole numbers as well as zeros then the zeros need to remain unformatted.
Are my expectations too high? I know my ablility is pretty low so I figured that if my brain can think of it, someone's brain would have found an answer to it long ago.

Woo hoo!!! Perfect!
I never thought to use the SUM function in there.
Thank you so much for that.
