How to display Hebrew date in Hebrew numberal in Excel.

    Hello,

In Powerpoint using Hebrew date style1, Sep 3, 2013 will be displayed as , כ"ח/אלול/תשע"ג

how to display the same in excel,
excel displays as, 3 ספטמבר 2013

I didn't see any Hebrew numeral sets in there.

Are you trying to get the exact transliteration of 2013 in hebrew, or are you trying to get the actual hebrew year?

sep 3, 2013 needs to be displayed as , כ"ח/אלול/תשע"ג
I guess it is the transliteration of 2013 in hebrew as well as actual Hebrew Lunar year.

Does excel 2013 supports Hebrew Lunar Calendar?

There's apparently a User Defined Function floating out on the interwebs called DateToHeb().

I would start you search there for an Excel macro to convert dates to the Hebrew Lunar calendar. I'm not too sure what you'd need to do get get Hebrew numerals. The names of day and month can be called with [$-0101040D] in custom formats as you've seen.

[$-108040D] will get the hebrew year as well. But i need to display the numbers in Hebrew. I am actually looking for the custom format code, if excel supports Hebrew Numerals. Not looking for custom Macro. Thanks
