Encoding issue - Italian appears as Junk chars in Excel 2013

So I have just compiled some data from an Italian website to an Excel 2013 spreadsheet, but I see a lot of junk characters in the cells.

I believe this is owing to an encoding error but I am not sure how to address the issue properly

Sending a sample of the list for review. I will have to save the data in an excel as well as a CSV file

I would greatly appreciate if someone could kindly help me with this

change excel ANSI encoding to UTF-8 is the open the .csv file in notepad++ then select File > Save As. Now at the bottom you will see encoding it set to ANSI change it to UTF-8 and save the file as new file and then your done.
