First hope I am posting this in the right section sorry if not.
Is there a way to use conditional formatting to check column A and if it comes across text that is bolded to highlight row?

If you are trying to see if any text in a cell is bolded, then the short answer is - excel cannot "see" colors or fonts, these are formats, not data, and excel only works with/sees data.
So regular CF will not be able to "see" is a cell has red text, bolded text, underlined text etc, you will need some0ne to put some VBA code together for this

If your bold formatting is on the entire cell, try this:Place it in a module of a workbook (preferably PERSONAL workbook), and run the macro.
