Eliminating HOUR mark from TIME rubric - Is this doable? Turn 8.1.2013 10:00 to 8.1.2013

    Attached is an example.

Would like delete the HOURS (have no use for them, they interfere with the data).

Thanks in advance to all the people who help!

    Use

    =INT(A1)

    Copy down

    Format as mm/dd/yyyy

several ways with that sample you could use find replace
find space* replace with nothing the format column mdy
    or use text to columns
    space as delimiter click next
select column with times in the window and choose do not import column(skip)
    click finish

You can also remove hours by following these steps: highlight column with data, go to Data > Text to Columns, select space as delimiter, click next, here you will see 3 columns date, hours and PM/AM. click on hours and AM/PM and click on the radio button Do not import (Skip) and Finish.
