    Conditional formatting: two different fields affect one cells formatting for a date.

    Hello.

    A little background on what i am doing. I have a spreadsheet that tracks when i have blown the dust out of our computers. I have set up conditional formatting so that the text turns red after 300 days and the cell turns yellow after 600 days. However, some computers are in high dust environments. I would like the spreadsheet to tell me to blow the dust out of these sooner. Please see the attached sheet.

    Thanks guys.

    gluktar, Good Afternoon.

    You can have two different system at same time.

    a) Normal environment.....N...YELLOW...>=600...RED...>=300

    b) High dust environment..Y...YELLOW...>=200...RED...>=100

    Do this at Conditional formating:

    At A2 use this:
    First condition....:=OR(AND(B2="Y",TODAY()-A2>=200),AND(B2="N",TODAY()-A2>=600)

    Second condition:=OR(AND(B2="Y",TODAY()-A2>=100),AND(B2="N",TODAY()-A2>=300)

    Is it what you desire?
    I hope it helps.
