Header and Footer in a different orientation

I am trying to have a header and footer that is in portrait orientation so it lines up with my other documents, but still have the rest of the page in landscape. Does anyone know how to do this?

What I used to do years ago, especially when wanting an Excel table or graph in a Word document with a different orientation, is to leave a blank page so that headers/footers will print in portrait (and page numbers etc. will be consistent), and then run that page through the printer again and over-print the Excel page(s). A simple solution ...

Thanks Pete, That is always a back up plan but as I am printing alot of pages I was wanting to see if there is an automated way to do this.
