Given the setup as shown in the attachment. When an item is selected from the dropdown list I want to strike through the item in the display area. I am not sure how to write the formula to accomplish this.

Apply the following Conditional Formatting formula to the required cells:
Then select Strike-through from the Format selection.

Apply strikethrough formatting based on this condition.
Apply this formatting to cells L2:L7, N2:N7, P2:P7.
Remove any existing strikethrough formatting.
