Subtotal Groups?

Hi all,

I have a spreadsheet where I'm grouping together checks deposited during a day, so say on 10/8/2013 we deposit 5 checks that are a sum of $5000, though I group them to hide all the breakdown and just show the $5000 sum. I have multiples lines like this and want to be able to total just those sums, though when I try to it is summing the summed number and all the detailed numbers. I initially thought of just dividing by 2, but some days we get only 1 check deposited, so in that case it is not doubled. Example of what I'm doing below. Thanks for any help!

- $5000 <- only visible cell when group is closed

sum = $10000

Please attach a sample workbook with enough data to make it clear what is needed. Thanks for the image to attach! Take column N for example. Trying to make it so $2664.63 shows up at the bottom formulated by only the visible cells.

9 includes Hidden Values
109 excludes Hidden Values
