    Split Worksheet

    Hello guys,
Can I split my worksheet in 2 but to have like different sheets? So like having 2 different sheets(both starting from A1) viewed side by side but still having just one.

Try the View tab and click the " split" icon.

    Re: Split Worksheet

You can start one instance of Excel by clicking on its icon. Open a second instance of Excel by holding down the Shift key and clicking on the icon. In the status bar where the two instances of Excel are shown (icons stacked on top of each other) hold down the Shift key and Right click on the stacked icons and choose show windows side by side.

That is about as close as you can come as you can have different files open at the same time side by side.

    Re: Split Worksheet

You can open up two copies of the same workbook but one will be in "Read Only" version so you can not work on it or make any changes while the other is open. That I think, is the only way to have 2 copies of the one workbook open for viewing at the same time.
