Importing from web

Hi guys, have a question that I'm assuming should be fairly easy to answer, but wanted some clarification.

I have began using the data -> import from web tool in Excel 2007. I'm currently using it for NFL team depth charts which are updated weekly, but when I attempt to input the table from the web page it will only allow to me import the entire page.

My question is, if I alter the contents of the page by deleting some of the rows and columns that are unnecessary, will the data that remains still update when I refresh?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

When you refresh, it will re-import all the data for the whole page, not just the part left after you edited. Depending on what you delete it may not work at all.
