    how compare two names, diffcult to find name miss match in 2 columns

    Here i gave sample file, how to compare two names?

    some names looks different like this , but all this name is not wrong,

    ROSE MARRY Mrs ROSEMARRY

    jack dossan mr jackdHossan

    michael jorge mr michael

    i want display completely wrong name between two column
    example

    Rajesh kumar Mr raguram

    venkatesh mr vinoth

    rameshkumar mr ramarajan

    silambarasan mr ashokumar

    all the above names wrong.

    i want differentiate this names in c column, if name wrong then display as 'NAME MISMATCH"

    If name correct should be blank in C column,

    This will get you close, but it flags more "incorrect names" than what you point out - since they aren't exact matches... not sure how to perform a "fuzzy" match...

    Paste this in C2 and fill down:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    yah Moo the Dog, its working as you told, getting more name "incorrect names" but its ok, i can manage, thank you...

    if anyone know how to exact match pls reply me in this thread..
