Rolling (scrolling) columns in Excel 2010

Hello all! I'm a newbie to both Excel AND this forum. There's a lot of knowledge here and I would like to tap into that at this time! I have a spreadsheet with standard rows and columns - nothing elaborate. There is a section with a column for each month of the year, with 10 line items showing monthly totals for various business functions. What I would like to do, if possible, is ... instead of showing all 12 columns (making for a very long spreadsheet), I would like to show only 4 of the 12 month columns (in a window) and scroll through the months with a scroll bar.
Thanks for any suggestions anyone can make!

One feature that might make life easier for you is on the View Tab called Freeze Panes.

Wow, that IS very useful! Thank you for pointing out Freeze Pane!! I already have ideas for using that.....OFTEN!!!
However, if there is a way to just keep a window which scrolls through 4 months at a time across only a set few rows (not the whole spreadsheet - the desire is to keep the width consistant).

You can use Named Ranges to define each area that you want to see and then insert a hyperlink in the static area of the visible sheet. Click on the hyperlink and you are taken to the named range that you defined for that hyperlink. That might be the easiest to create and implement.
