Im writing because i have an issue with linking information from excel to powerpoint.

I create monthly reports in excel and link some information to powerpoint, here the explanation:

In excel i create pivot graphics that then are later "pasted as links" in powerpoint, in this way if any information is updated in excel the graphics are automatically refreshed in powerpoint.

The issue that i have is that when i make the next month report i have to change the name of the file and the links to the graphics are broken (inside the excel file i have around 15 workbooks/sheets and 1 or 2 graphics en each meaning 15+ slides with graphics in powerpoint) so every time i have to update manually the links to indicate the "new" location (through info-edit link to files).

But the main issue is that after updating the links in powerpoint and refreshing is not recognizing anymore the location of the graphics in the different workbooks/sheets in excel but is just showing through the 15+ slides an area of the first workbook/sheet of excel in every single slide in powerpoint, so the link is like "lost".

Is there any way to fix this? im i doing something wrong?
