How to make data entry faster in excel ?

Dear All,

I have more than 300 data including formula. When I enter data in a cell it takes time to move cursor one cell to another cell showing "calculating processor". How can I make my data entry faster? Please help.

Its very hard to suggest something without seeing your file.

Because you might have using Volatile functions like Indirect(),Offset() which will do the calculation every time on change in the any of the open workbooks.

So instead of screenshot please attach a sample workbook so that we will be having a look at your file to suggest some easy and better method.

Please attach a sample workbook with enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

If you just wish to enter data without interruption you could try to set calculation to "Manual" and when you have entered all data press the "F9" button to calculate all values.

Tools -> Options select tab "Calculation" and click "Radio button" "Manual"

Be aware that this is a setting for all your excel files so after updating you better set this back to "Automatic" again.
