    Default template in Excel 2010

    hi - - -

my default word 2010 template is saved under
    c:\users\ ME \appdata\roaming\microsoft\templates\ normal.dotm
and the excel 2010 one under
    c:\users\ ME \appdata\roaming\microsoft\excel\xlstart\ sheet.xltm (or book.xltm ...because i'm using the french version and it's called classeur.xltm)

of course, when i start word or excel, the software opens the said template, with the parameters i chose
(like: margins, footer (showing filename, page, etc.), arial font, etc.)

    BUT

when i'm already in excel using a spreadsheet and when i decide to create a new one
    > file > new > new spreadsheet
excel does NOT use the default template = excel creates one without my parameters BUT with colibri font and so on!!!)

when i do the same in word, it works correctly: word opens my default template

any help for my excel problem please?! thanks in advance - - -

wow, my message was on page 21! almost two weeks later and 108 views!

i guess there are some excel-users among you, huh?!

so i am surprised that no one has tested the situation i described
so he/she could comment it and help me...

    thanks in advance - - -
