Creating a default cell content?

Hope some of you guys can help me...

Is it possible to set the default contents of a cell instead of having it blank? I want a cell to say "YES" if you have not entered any data into that cell, and when you do, then it is replaced by whatever you entered. If you delete the contents of the cell, it goes back to the "YES". Hence the "YES" being the default contents of the cell.

Easily done with a macro.

But you would have to specify the range of cells that you are interested in.

right click on your sheet name at the bottom of excel

select view code

paste this in the screen that appears and then close the screen

change any cell.
