Need to select and past data between two cells

Point List Detail
I need to copy and paist only the cells between the lists below. The list numbers are in a different collume than the rest of the data. The lists are never the same length so I need to find the best way to capture the data and view it on another sheet. I dont want to have to select the range each time I do this. There are several hundered lists to filter.

Thanks for any input.

Re: Need to select and past data between two cells

Hi and welcome to the forum

i would suggest you upload a sample work book, (all sensitive data removed), showing what data you are working with, a few examples of what your expected outcome is, and how you arrived at that
To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Regards
Ford

Re: Need to select and paist data between two cells

I need to capture the data that is greyed out and populate a form with a dropdown list or button perhaps. I hope to capture only the list selected.

Thanks

I think you missed this part...
showing what data you are working with, a few examples of what your expected outcome is, and how you arrived at that

FDibbins........ "I think you missed this part

Um-mm.. I'm not trying to be rude and I'm not sure I missed anything, but..if you open the example you will see.

List No: L312 Description: LVL 1 PULLS 256 Point List Pseudo

Point Custom Point Label Device Type Point Type

M1-55-0 LVL 1 Test point ADRPUL PULL
M1-62-0 LVL 1 Test point2 ADRPUL PULL
M1-68-0 LVL 1 Test point55 ADRPUL PULL
M1-95-0 LVL 1 Test point555 ADRPUL PULL
M1-109-0 LVL 1 Test point ADRPUL PULL
M1-145-0 LVL 1 Test point55 ADRPUL PULL
M1-147-0 LVL 1 Test point ADRPUL PULL
M1-148-0 LVL 1 Test point ADRPUL PULL

As well as several other lists of varying lengths.

How can I state this clearer?
The data I'm trying to capture reads like this.......

List No: L312 Description: LVL 1 PULLS 256 Point List Pseudo

Point Custom Point Label Device Type Point Type

M1-55-0 LVL 1 Test point ADRPUL PULL
M1-62-0 LVL 1 Test point2 ADRPUL PULL
M1-68-0 LVL 1 Test point55 ADRPUL PULL
M1-95-0 LVL 1 Test point555 ADRPUL PULL
M1-109-0 LVL 1 Test point ADRPUL PULL
M1-145-0 LVL 1 Test point55 ADRPUL PULL
M1-147-0 LVL 1 Test point ADRPUL PULL
M1-148-0 LVL 1 Test point ADRPUL PULL

..but sometimes the full list is longer so the solution needs to adjust for that.

Now, the data below this line "(List No: L312 Description: LVL 1 PULLS 256 Point List Pseudo)" this is what I need to automatically populate a form or a box or some way of consolidating the list I want to view and or print. Sorry I'm not sure what the end result will look like also I can not tell how it will get there maybe a macro or a formula I really don't care either way. Also if you view the attached file and look at the first page there is an example of the box I speak of. Its on the tab that reads FORM. So please tell me what more I can do to explain this clearer for the excel savvy people here. I would not be here asking for help on this if I were a pro and knew all the proper words to use. Again I'm not trying to be rude this is my best layman's explanation I can come up with.

Thanks to anyone who can help.
