    Filter by Checkbox

    Hello,

I need to filter certain items by criteria. Since there are several different types of items on the spreadsheet, let me use cars as an example. Let's say I have a list of cars on a spreadsheet and I want to be able to filter them by 2-door or 4-door, 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder, automatic or manual transmission, etc. The features will be listed next to each auto on the same spreadsheet. There may be ways to do this via autofilter or something else, but the only way my co-workers will actually use this is if it's in checkbox format, or something equally as simple.

The key to this is that I would like for the users to be able to check one or more of the boxes, and have only the autos that have those features show up. So if they check 4-door, red, and 6-cylinder, all the vehicles with those attributes will show up. If they then check manual transmission, the list will be further pared. BTW, I don't need a count of these items; just a list of those autos that have all of the checked attributes. It doesn't matter if there's fifty or only one.

Thank you for your time and help!!

    Re: Filter by Checkbox

    Popipipo,

I don't see how that could really benefit me for this scenario... it doesn't have any check boxes to click on to filter by.

Even if it did, I don't have enough VBA experience to alter the code to meet my needs. Thanks though!
