Linking Excel Files

I have a feeling this is possible, but just wanted to make sure. I'm wondering if I create a single Workbook (Called "Stats") on one computer that is continously updated/populated... while i have another excel workbook (Called "Platform") on another computer that grabs info from the "Stats" Workbook... would it automatically update itself? Both are connected on the same network.

So for example... if I created a column called "Names" in Workbook "Stats" and slowly filled in names in that column, could that also show up on the "PlatForm" workbook, on another computer... automatically?

Yes you can

Just keep both the workbooks open and just press = and click on that source work cell. Remove the dollar symbols and give enter.
