Format all columns on rows 3 - 500 grey, if a certain cell value="Сompleted"

    Hi again!

I have a spreadsheet that tracks status of "Action Items" in an IT development project.

I would like rows to be greyed out once their status is Complete for a certain row. Perhaps this can be acheived with conditional formatting?

So basically, I want to affect OTHER cells on the same row, based on the value of in a specific cells

Very grateful for tips! Illustration below:

Select the whole data range, e.g. A3:Z500 then, asuming that status column is column F use this formula in conditional formatting

    =$F3="Completed"

    format grey > OK

Chnage column letter as required, $ must be used for this to work
