    Post Conditional formatting and dates

I have three dates for evaluations.
the initial eval the midpoint and the final
I would like to have the first one green the midpoint slowly turning to red as the date approaches and the same with the final date. Once the eval is completed I can enter the new date and it will turn green again.
I'm a novice at this and unfamiliar with conditional formatting except of r the very basics.
    thank you
    Ray

    Read First…
Start by going to your dates, (Eval. Date; Today Date; and Final Date), highlight the three dates then go to CF then go to “Highlight cells rules”, ”More Rules”, “Format Cells Based On Values” You See dropdown - two color scale - two formats choose lowest “GREEN” and Highest “RED” (OK).Another window will open “Rules Manager” allowing you to add/or change your format, go to “Applies To”, there you will see the cells you highlighted =the first cell : the last cell. Change the colon “:” to a comma “,” then click on the center cell of your selection and add another comma “,”. So result will be ; (=first cell, second cell, last cell) click on apply your format should be added. Then in the cell containing your final date; insert =Sum(click on Eval. Date +364). If you get less days to final add that time in days other than 364. That should change your date colors as you move along.

PS. If your plans are to copy format down rows maybe you better attempt a different type of format. It will work correctly on one row or formatted on a few rows separately, but copying it delivers unwanted results.
