Pre-setting of cells

Dear all,

I found my excel sheets became a little bit crazy. After working on remote desk-top Excel application, my "on-desk-top Excel" start using as a native setting a currency format EUR with a 3 digits. I would like to set it back, to normal, but I do not know, where. It use this wrong settins, when I create new excel, when I create it by exporting data from ERP databasis and so on. Do you have any idea how to pre-set it to "general".

Most preset excel settings are found under the file tab in options.
