    QAT custom button images?

Google has helped me figure out how to change the button images for macros and commands on the quick-access toolbar, by renaming Excel.officeUI as Excel.officeUI.xml, opening it, then changing the "ImageMSO field to refer to a different button image name, a list of which can be found at

However, I can only select among the predefined button images. I'd much rather be able to use my *own* button images. Has anyone figured out how to do that?

Appreciate any assistance that anyone may be able to offer.

    Cheers,

Wow... so I guess no one can figure out how to do custom button images! What a pain. I had done a lovely set of images for Excel 2003, for buttons that applied my cell styles. It doesn't have to be on the QAT - the point is whether it's possible to use any custom button images, including on the Ribbon.

    Sigh.
