    PROPER function for single column

    Hello,

As we use proper function to change case from 1Cell to another, is it possible to use this function directly to the desired column?
or any other formula to do this?

(Column A contains the names, so can we change case directly to this column ?..while typing or after hitting enter)

    regards

    have a look here
    http://www.cpearson.com/excel/ChangingCase.aspx

    at the section
    Changing Case On Entry

this will change the case on the cell you are entering data

you just need to change the range
and remove the ' against the proper case command

Yes, it can be done with VBA

Here is the code. Press ALT+F11 to open VB editor, click on insert and select Module. Paste code into module and close editor.
